If you are talking about a straight line with slope 8/5, the equation is
y = (8/5)x + b
You left out the x.
The y-intercept (where the line crosses the y axis) is b.
Hi!!
What is the y intercept for the slope 8/5? (Or, what is the y intercept for the equation y=8/5+b?)
Please Help!!
Thank You!!

Did you mean to type
y=(8/5)x + b ?
the y-intercept-slope form looks like this:
y = mx + b
the m is the slope, in your case 8/5
and the b is the y-intercept.
You did not state a y-intercept.
e.g. had the equation been
y = (8/5)x + 12
your line would have a slope of 8/5 and a y-intercept of 12, i.e., it would pass through the point (0,12) on the y-axis.
