Hi Scott, in the square root of 108

2 * 54 = 2 * 2 * 27 = 2 * 2 * 3 * 9

I don't get this last part
√108 = 2 * 3 * √3 = 6√3

why wouldn't it be
2 * 54 = 2 * 2 * 27 = 2 * 2 * 3 * 9
=12√3..................since 2*2*3 =12 thanks!

√x^2 = x
so,
√108 = √(2^2*3^2*3) = √2^2 * √3^2 * √3 = 2*3*√3 = 6√3
or
√108 = √(36*3) = 6√3
