Hi, I'm trying to fix an incorrect IUPAC name of a molecule. It is given as trisecbutylmethane, and I have to draw it out to correct it. Here's the thing: how do I draw incorrect IUPAC name? I can't wrap my mind around it. What I have drawn out is a tertiary carbon with 3 secbutyl groups attached. After finding the longest chain and renaming, I get 4-secbutyl-3,6-dimethylheptane. Does this make sense, or did I draw my molecule wrong?
Thank you for your time.

I tried drawing that out. I see the heptane and 4-secbutyl but not the 3,6 dimethyl. I looks like 3,5 dimethyl to me.
Oh you are right! One of my secbutyls had a different position for its branch. Thanks!
4-sec-butyl-3,5-dimethylheptane.
