Hi! I need help with this one problem. My teacher told me that I could use any method to solve the following system and this is the answer I got; (1/2,2/5). Is this correct?

The good thing about simultaneous equations is that you can check your own answers by substituting them back into the equations.

I just tried that and your answer didn't work for either equation.
