log_2(3)x + log_2(3) = 3
log_2(3)x + log_2(3) = log_2(2^3)
log_2 [(x)(3)] = log_2(8)
(x)(3) = 8
x = 8/3
Log_2 = log base 2
2^3 = 2 to the power of 3
(x)(3) = x times 3
8/3 = 8 over 3
