hey. does anybody have any suggestions on a good way to interestingly present a project on spectacles and their impact on the middle ages???
I think it would be a cool idea to bring in a pair of glasses and to show the very important people that wore them and who do you think that glasses impacted there life
Very few people in the Middle Ages had glasses. Some others used magnifying glasses. But ways of enhancing vision were beyond the means of most people.
Therefore, many people couldn't see printed materials or distances clearly.
You could show your class several blurred images that would illustrate how many Medieval people saw their world.
