Heu i have a question

55 answers

Of course! What's your question?

Well in acnh I just dreamed on the bed with Luna and stuff and she took me to an island on meatball. Will she take me to another person's island

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, when you interact with Luna and dream of another island, you can indeed visit dream islands created by other players. To do this, you'll need the dream address of the island you want to visit. The dream address is a unique code that identifies each dream island. If someone shares their dream address with you, you can use it to visit their island through Luna. Just let her know you want to visit a specific dream address, and enter the code when prompted. Enjoy your dreaming!

I just said surprise me cuz nobody but my brother is my friend on my switch. Can the person see me

When you visit a dream island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by selecting "Surprise me," you are taken to a random player's dream island. The owner of that island cannot see you or interact with you while you are visiting their dream. Dream visits are designed to be non-intrusive; you can explore the island freely, but the owner won't know you were there and won't see any of your actions. Enjoy exploring!

Okay thanks!!

You're welcome! If you have any more questions about Animal Crossing or anything else, feel free to ask. Have fun playing!

Are the dream islands real

No, the dream islands in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are not real in the sense that they are not live, active islands. When you visit a dream island, you are experiencing a snapshot of a player's island as it was saved at the time they uploaded it to the Dream Suite. The owner of the dream island has created a dream version of their island that others can visit, but any changes you make while exploring (like picking up items or interacting with villagers) do not affect the actual island. It's a way for players to share their creativity and designs without directly interacting with others in real-time. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Really? So it's not an actual island?

Correct! Dream islands are not actual, live islands where players interact in real-time. Instead, they are a snapshot of a player's island at a specific moment in time, saved in a dream state. When you visit a dream island, you're essentially exploring a version of that island as it was when the player uploaded it to the Dream Suite.

You can walk around, take pictures, and enjoy the design, but the island will not change or be influenced by your visit. The owner of the dream island will not see you or be aware that you visited. If you have more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask!

So no one owns it

When you visit a dream island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the island is indeed owned by another player, but in the dream state, it becomes a version that can't be altered or interacted with by anyone who visits.

The original owner created and customized the island, and they have uploaded it to the Dream Suite, allowing others to visit it in dream form. Once it's uploaded, it can be visited by anyone who has the dream address or chooses to be surprised by Luna. However, while you can explore it, you won't be able to interact with the island's owner or make any changes to their design. So, in a sense, the dream island is "owned" in that it belongs to a specific player, but it operates in a non-interactive dream state for visitors.

If you have any more questions or need more details, feel free to ask!

So the person who owns it can't see me

That's correct! When you visit a dream island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the owner of that island cannot see you. Dream visits are designed to be private experiences. The player who created the dream island will not be aware that you're visiting, and they cannot interact with you in any way while you are in their dream. It allows you to explore their island freely without any real-time interaction. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

I just saw the person look at me lol I'm scared

It can be a little surprising! However, if you're experiencing a situation where it seems like the character in the dream is looking at you, it's likely just a part of the game design or animations. In the dream state, villagers and the overall environment are designed to create an immersive experience, but they don't interact with you like they do in the real world of your island.

Remember, dream visitors are not viewed in real-time by the owner of the dream island, so if you see characters moving or reacting, it's just part of the game. If you're feeling a bit spooked, you can always switch to another island or exit the dream. Enjoy your exploration, and let me know if you have any more questions!

Um what happens if I just restart my switch I'm too scared to go back to the Luna bed

If you restart your Nintendo Switch, it will simply reset the game session, and you'll be back to your home screen in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You won't be stuck in the dream state anymore, and you won't be sent back to the dream island when you reopen the game.

When you log back into your game, you’ll be back at your own island, and you can approach the Luna bed whenever you feel ready to try visiting dream islands again. There’s no harm in restarting if you’re feeling uneasy. Take your time and enjoy the game at your own pace! If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

Unrelatable but I found a dollar in the clean basket in the laundry room and it was my dad's I supposed I immediately gave it to him and he said I could have it

That's a nice little surprise! Finding money unexpectedly, especially when it belongs to someone else but they give it to you, can feel like a small win. Your dad's generosity shows that he appreciates your honesty and maybe even thinks you deserve a little treat. It’s always a good idea to be honest and return found money, but it's great that it worked out in your favor! Did you have any particular plans for what you might do with the dollar?

IDK maybe if we go to the store I could buy a snack like. A Reese's bar. I rode with my dad a lot so maybe

That sounds like a great plan! A Reese's bar is delicious, and it’s always nice to treat yourself to a snack, especially if you’ve been spending time with your dad. If you go to the store together, it’ll be a fun little outing, and you can enjoy your treat afterward. Plus, it’s always nice to share those moments with family. Enjoy your snack if you end up getting it! If you have any more questions or just want to chat about anything else, feel free to let me know!

Reese's is like a candy from heaven it is an absolute gem. Its my favorite candy of all time.

Reese's really is a fantastic choice! The combination of chocolate and peanut butter is hard to beat, and for many people, it's a nostalgic treat. There are so many varieties too, like the classic cups, minis, and even seasonal shapes. It’s great to have a favorite candy that you truly enjoy! Do you have a preferred way to eat them, like savoring it slowly or just enjoying it all at once?

Sometimes I put them in the freezer for about 10 minutes or so then I eat them it tastes so good

Freezing Reese's is a fantastic idea! It makes the chocolate extra firm and enhances the contrast between the cold chocolate and the creamy peanut butter filling. Many people love enjoying their candy this way because it creates a whole different experience. It’s perfect for a little snack or treat, especially on a warm day! Do you have any other favorite snacks or treats you enjoy?

I got that from my dad he freezes his chocolate like Butterfingers or Hershey's

That's a great strategy! Freezing chocolate bars like Butterfingers and Hershey's can really enhance the texture and flavor. The crunchiness of the Butterfinger combined with the cold can be really satisfying, and it gives chocolate bars an extra refreshing twist. It sounds like you and your dad share a fun little snack tradition! Do you both enjoy other types of treats together as well?

Don't know if you know about this but we live not that far from Cleveland Ohio and sometimes we stop by this little restaurant whenever he had to do something from down there and he'd order a Polish boy. Its so delicious. And he's from Cleveland as well that's how I know about it lol. Its reallyy good

That sounds like a lovely tradition! A Polish boy is a fantastic dish—it's a classic from the Cleveland area and definitely has some great flavors. For those who might not know, a Polish boy typically consists of a kielbasa sausage in a bun, topped with coleslaw, fries, and BBQ sauce. It's hearty and delicious!

It’s great that you have a special connection to the food through your dad, especially since he’s from the area. Those little dining experiences can make for some wonderful memories. Do you have any other favorite dishes from nearby places or family favorites?

Lasgna. I used to not like it but now I do. We get the ones from the store with the meat and cheese on top of it, and although it takes about an hour, it's pretty tasty. 😊👍

Lasagna is such a comforting dish, and it's great that you've come to enjoy it! The layers of pasta, meat, cheese, and sauce create such a delicious mix of flavors and textures. Plus, the smell while it's baking is hard to resist!

It’s nice that you have the option to get it from the store too, making it a bit more convenient to enjoy. Cooking it can definitely be a labor of love, but the end result is always worth it. Do you usually enjoy it with any special sides or maybe a salad when you have it?

Oo no. But sometimes we have garlic bread with it.

Garlic bread is a perfect side for lasagna! The buttery, garlicky flavor complements the rich layers of meat and cheese so well. Plus, it's great for soaking up any extra sauce. It sounds like a delicious combo for a meal! Do you and your family have other favorite meals that you enjoy together, or is there something special you like to cook on occasion?

Btw sorry, not to ignore your response, but I have a question. Kk slider is on my island and it's 8:53 PM. but when I request a song, for example like bubblegum k.k, he doesn't do the song I wanted. He keeps saying "I don't know the song you wanted, so I pulled one out of my pocket." Or whatever. Why is this? Is it because my system update version is 18.1.0 while the game is 2.0 or something? Or is it because I am on a switch lite? I don't knoww

No need to apologize! I'm here to help!

If K.K. Slider is not playing the specific song you requested, it could be for a few reasons:

  1. K.K.'s Schedule: K.K. only performs certain songs on specific days. He performs on Saturdays, and if you approach him any other day, he won't be able to take song requests.

  2. Song Availability: It's possible that you may not have the song unlocked yet. Some songs become available only after you've received them or if you're playing on a version of the game that doesn't have certain songs activated. However, "Bubblegum K.K." is one of the more common songs, so this may not be the issue.

  3. Game Version: Your system version (18.1.0) refers to the Nintendo Switch system software, and the game version (2.0) refers to the version of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Ensure both your game and console software are up to date for the best experience, but usually, this would not affect K.K. Slider's ability to play songs.

  4. Switch Lite: Using a Switch Lite shouldn't affect K.K. Slider's ability to play songs either since it's just a different model of the same console.

If K.K. continues to say he’s pulling out a random song, try requesting again at a different time, especially on a Saturday night when he’s supposed to come to your island. If you have further concerns, checking the game’s settings or seeing if any updates are available might help! Enjoy your time on the island!

Yeah it's Saturday night

Since it's Saturday night and K.K. Slider is on your island, he should be able to take requests! If he's telling you he doesn't know the song you want and giving you a random one instead, it's likely due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Unlocked Songs: Even though Bubblegum K.K. is a well-known song, it may not be available if you haven't unlocked it yet. Make sure to check your inventory of songs to see if you already have it or how many songs you've collected.

  2. Random Song Choices: Occasionally, even if you request a specific song, K.K. might still give you a different one, especially if he thinks you've already heard the song you're requesting.

To ensure you get your desired song next time, you might want to keep track of which songs you've already received from K.K. You can also approach him again after he finishes playing a song to try requesting it once more.

If you continue to run into this issue, you might want to try leaving and coming back in a bit to see if that refreshes his ability to take your request. Enjoy your time with K.K. Slider! If you have any more questions or concerns, feel free to ask!

I can't wait to go home
I'm on my wah

"I'm on my way, driving at ninety down those country lanes..."

That song for some reason reminds me of 2015 every single time

It's interesting how certain songs can evoke strong memories and feelings from specific times in our lives! Music often serves as a soundtrack to our experiences, and 2015 must have had some significant moments for you that are tied to that song. Nostalgia can be a powerful thing, bringing back memories of places, people, or emotions associated with that time.

Do you have any specific memories or events from 2015 that come to mind when you hear that song?

Reminds me of when I was going to my grandma's house and meeting my cousins

That sounds like a wonderful memory! Visiting family, especially grandparents and cousins, can create such special moments. Those trips often come with a lot of joy, laughter, and bonding, which makes songs like "Home" resonate even more deeply. It’s great that you have that connection to the song! Do you and your cousins still get together, or do you have other favorite activities or traditions when you visit your grandma?

Nope lots of bad stuff happened sadly. Haven't seen them since 2022. We used to do a lot of stuff together though. We went to Tennessee multiple times, one time in 2016 and rented this huge cabin with an indoor pool and theater. We went bowling lots of times. We went to dinner lots of times. I used to stay over at my grandma and Grandpa's house and sleep over with the twins and stuff. Ngl one night back in 2015 I was there sleeping over and the lights were off. And I had to sleep in the bed with my cousins. They were tiny though. The twins were 3 and one of my other cousins was 4. And I was 6. That's cuz there wasn't much room in that tiny house.

It sounds like you have some truly special memories from those times with your family, even if things have changed since then. That trip to Tennessee with the huge cabin, indoor pool, and theater sounds like an incredible experience! It's natural for family gatherings to provide such warm and memorable moments, especially with all the fun activities like bowling and dinners together.

Sleeping over at your grandparents' house with your younger cousins must have been quite an adventure, especially in a cozy setting. Those experiences, even if they felt chaotic at times, can bring a lot of joy and laughter to our childhood.

It's tough to hear that there have been challenges that have kept you from seeing your cousins recently, but those memories can always be cherished. Sometimes families can go through rough patches, but the bond you had during those fun times is something special that you can hold onto.

If you're comfortable, it could be nice to reconnect with them in the future, whether in person or even through a call or message to share a memory. If you want to talk more about it or anything else, I’m here for you!

Nah it was tight lol. But I remember playing with my dolls and stuff with them. I remember giving my cousin who was 4 her name was Alyssa my my little pony dolls. idk why I did that I regret it too. But yeah.

It sounds like you had a lot of fun playing with your dolls and enjoying creative playtime with your cousins, which is such a cherished part of childhood! Giving your My Little Pony dolls to your cousin Alyssa, even if it feels regrettable now, likely made her really happy at the time. Kids often share toys as a way to bond and have fun together, and those moments can be filled with laughter and imagination.

It’s totally normal to have mixed feelings about childhood decisions, like giving away toys or other things. At the time, it probably felt like a sweet gesture in the spirit of sharing and playing together. Do you still enjoy playing with dolls or engaging in similar creative activities now, or have your interests changed as you’ve gotten older?

No trust me I love dolls now still. I wanna get more but I'm afraid I might be too old for them. They're older as well now.

There's absolutely no age limit when it comes to enjoying dolls or any hobbies you love! Many people continue to enjoy collecting dolls and engaging with them well into adulthood. The appeal of dolls can be rooted in nostalgia, creativity, or even artistic expression through design and customization.

If you still love dolls and find joy in them, that’s what really matters! Hobbies should be about what makes you happy, not about what others might think. There are also many adult collectors and communities online who share the same passion, which can make for a supportive and fun space.

If you'd like, you could explore different types of dolls, such as vintage dolls, designer dolls, or even DIY projects to create your own custom dolls or accessories. Embrace what you enjoy—it’s all part of what makes you unique! If you want to talk more about dolls or anything else, feel free to share!
