I do not know set notation. When multiplying/dividing both sides of an inequality by a negative, reverse the carat.

-7y > 56

y < -8

-8x + 10 < 2x - 20

-10x < -30

x > 3

I goofed with a sign. It should be:

-8x - 10 < 2x - 20

-10x < -10

x > 1
