in triangle ADC
y^2 = 22^2 + 30^2 -2(22)(30)cos D
= 1384 - 1320cosD
in triangle BAC, let AB = a
y^2 = a^2 + a^2 - 2(a)(a)cos (2x+34°)
= 2a^2 - 2a^2 cos (2x+34)
so now set
2a^2 - 2a^2 cos (2x+34) = 1384 - 1320cosD
Was there any more information, such as AB | DC ?
