Try your questions by following the above method
If the coefficient of the variable in your divisor is 1 , like in your last 4 problems, "synthetic division" can be used.
Khan has an excellent video showing the steps of synthetic division

I suggest doing the last 4 using this method and seeing how much faster the method is.
