Solve the equation:
(x-3)(x+2)=0
Enter the solution with the lowest value.

you know that if the product is zero, one of the factors must be zero. SO, you have

x-3 = 0
or
x+2 = 0

The solutions are therefore x = -2 or x = 3.

I assume you can now pick the solution with the lower value. Don't forget your algebra I, now that you're taking pre-calc!
