Hello!
Thanks for checking my question out!
____
18. An artist’s website is creatively designed and has a gallery to show examples of her work. You can also find a short biography of the artist on the site. While there is a list of prices for each piece of her artwork, there is no way to actually purchase her work. How well does the design meet the purpose(s) for which it was designed?
a) The website is aesthetically pleasing and communicative but not very functional.
b) The website is aesthetically pleasing and functional but not very communicative.
c) The website is communicative and functional but not very aesthetically pleasing.
d) The website is aesthetically pleasing, communicative, and functional.
My Answer: A
The reason why is because the website seems to look great because it has been "creatively designed". It lists the artwork prices, but it lacks the buy function. It's not functioning properly.
functionality: the ability to serve an intended purpose
Thanks!
