Asked by Hello!
Hello! So I have a question regarding a topic to do on Children with special needs, so I have researched and chose children with special needs. Now I want your help in choosing a research question for example “Is childhood anxiety a result of one’s environment or their genetics?” But I do not want to do that. What else could I do like that question about children with special needs? Please give me some ideas, I really do need help.
Thank you very much

special needs is a pretty broad area, frankly. You have to look at the specific need.
Socialization of children with special needs, specifically mainstreaming is a good topic.

Hello!
Sorry but what do you mean by specifically mainstreaming?

Hello!
If I were to use socialization of children with special needs.
What would I compare or contrast that with?
Is socialization of children with special needs effected by their disabilities??
That sounds like a very obvious question with an obvious answer. Could you perhaps help me make it more research worthy?

Please define "special needs."
Mentally impaired -- how much?
Physically impaired -- how much?
Deaf?
Blind?
Emotionally impaired -- to what extent?
Learning disabled?
Combinations of the above?
Or something else?

How about integrating high-functioning people with Down's Syndrome into the work force?
Or follow bobpursley's advice about mainstreaming mentally impaired children into the public schools.

Hello!
Ok so if I choose high-functioning people with down syndrome into the work force I made the research question as:
"Would integrating high-functioning people with Down Syndrome into a work force face negativity or positivity?" (I think this is a really bad research question, please help me improvise)
For Bobpursley's advice about mainstreaming mentally impaired children into the public schools:
"Would mainstreaming mentally impaired children into the public schools during childhood result in any consenquences in the child's behaviour in the future?" (I think this is really bad as well)
Please help me!
