Asked by Ilma
Hello. Please help me again.
1)I know it's possible to say "They entertained us to dinner", but is it possible to say "they entertained us to pizza" or "we were entertained to a cake"?
2)I asked a similar question, but if I change the structure, will I need the article: "the aim of these provocations is the? destabilization of the situation"?
Thank you very much.

1. The preposition "to" doesn't fit in any of those expressions.
They entertained us at dinner.
They entertained us with pizza.
We were entertained at a party with a cake.
2. With or without "the" is fine. With "the" is probably better, but it's fine without, too.
