If I registered a license in 2018 and the license would expire in 3 years. What year would it expire? 2020 or 2021? I never understood this. Would you count 2018 as 1 year?

It depends. If it's the beginning of 2018, yes, then you would count 2018 as 1 year. If it's the end, no, you wouldn't count it since the year is almost over.
it would be 2021 because if it says at the top in 2018 then now because if it said start of 2018 or something like that it would be 2020
so i would have to say 2021 and when it said in 2018 u are in 2018 not at the start so you'r answer would be 2021.
