they will meet when they have gone the same distance. Recall that the distance

hello! I seem to be having some problem with the start of my grade 12 physics course in which my grade 11 course was cut short due to the pandemic so I just need a bit of an explanation of what I need to do
the question being at what time will a police cruiser pass a speeding car with these variables that I've figured out
police cruiser
initial velocity = 0
final velocity = 40
acceleration = 4 m/s
speeder
average velocity = 30m/s (they were moving at a constant speed with no acceleration)
acceleration = 0
sorry if I missed anything but I can include it if you need it
