Hello,

I need some help with this question.
Thank You

Which of the following is the best opening sentence for business letter that you want to sound fairly informal?

1. Your order of February 10 arrived in our office today.

2. Please be advised that I've just received your order.

I would go with #1 because it give more details pertaining to the person's order. It is also fairly informal. Did you have these two options to choose from?

I agree that the first is better. But why not " We received today your order dated Feb 10.
