Hello!

For critical essays analyzing literature, is it better to analyze one text or can it done with more than one text?

Thank you!

More than one can be analyzed, especially if you have been assigned to compare and contrast literary elements.

However, you have to be very clear to keep them "separate," in a way ... for example, completely analyze elements in one text, then analyze the parallel elements in the other, and finally write your comparison or contrast or whatever type of analysis you're primary aim is.
