Actually would my answer be:
h (less than or equal to sign) 40?
Hello everyone. I have a math problem that I need a bit of help with please.
Ava wants to ride the Rip Ride Rocket roller coaster at Universal Studios. She knows that she has to be at least 40 inches tall. If h represents the height of the children that CANNOT ride the coaster, write and inequality that accurately represents the situation.
My answer:
h equal to sign with the slash across it and 40?
Would this be correct?

at least 40" tall means that
h >= 40
So, those who cannot ride are less than 40, or
h < 40
Not <= 40, since the 40" kids can ride.
h >= 40
So, those who cannot ride are less than 40, or
h < 40
Not <= 40, since the 40" kids can ride.
