Hands-only CPR is better than no CPR. While conventional CPR (which includes rescue breaths) and the use of an AED are also important in a cardiac emergency, hands-only CPR provides critical circulation to the brain and organs when immediately performed, and can maintain a person's chance of survival until professional help arrives.
