5 y = -x + 20
y = (-1/5) x + 4
when x = 0, y = 4 (0,4) correct
slope is -1/5
from that point (0,4) go left one and up 5 to (-1,9)
or from (0,4) you could go right one and down 5 to (1,-1)
Graph using the slope and the y-intercept.
x+5y=20.
Here is what I came up with:
5y=x(0)+20 5(0)= x+20
5y/5=20/5 x=20 (20,0)
y=4 (0,4)
The graph does not have a 20 on it. On the y axis it goes up to 10 and down to -10. On the x-axis it goes from 10 to -10 What did I do wrong?
