You have made a correct conclusion.
When two points are on the y-axis (also at x=2 and x=4), that means that the relations does not pass the vertical line test and it is therefore not a function.
Graph the relation then tell whether the relation is a function
The coordinates are: (0,-4), (0,4), (2,-3), (2,3). (4,-1)
(4,1)
After I graphed it I found that two of the point were on the y-axis so does that mean it is not a function? I might be getting it backwards though. If someone could just clear that up for me that would be great!
