given that 15.00cm3 of H2SO4 was required to completely neutralise 25.00cm3 of 0.125 mole per dm3 of NaOH. calculate the molar concentration of the acid solution

2 answers

NaOH: .025L * 0.125M = 0.003125 moles
H2SO4 + 2NaOH = Na2SO4 + 2H2O
so, you will need half as many moles of H2SO4
H2SO4: 0.0015625 moles / 0.015L = 0.104 mole/L
or, 0.1M solution
