HF + CH3C2OH => CH3C2F + H2O
Can you tell me what type of reaction this is? (it's a substitution and the ethanol is a ______ molecule)
Sidenote:Technically Fluorine is hard to control and over reactive and iodine is under reactive so in practical everyday work, one would not do a reaction with Fluorine but rather with Chlorine or Bromine.
Given one of the starting materials and end product for each of the following reactions, show all reactants, reaction conditions in brackets (where known) and products.
