Given: f(x) = 8-4x

A. Find f(-2)

f(-2) = 8-4(-2) = 8+8 = 16
============================
B. Find x, when f(x) = 8

8-4x = 8
so
-4x = 0
x = 0/-4
x = 0

I can not very well graph for you. It is a straight line
y = -4 x + 8
when x = 0, y = 8
when y = 0 x = 2
your line goes through those two points
