Give 10 difficult questions based on the manifesto below

Fellow residents of House Kestell, I am Lufezo, a dedicated and passionate 2nd-year law
student, excited to stand for the Finance, Maintenance, and Breakages portfolio. My
leadership journey began last year as part of the Academics Subcommittee, and I have
since grown into various subcommittees, including the Vice Prime Subcommittee, Media
and Marketing Subcommittee, and the Communities Subcommittee.
As an active house member, I participate in sports, corridor events, house events, and
meetings. Working under my Vice Prime RC Tebogo has inspired me to join the RC team
for 2025. I am eager to bring my skills in accountability, transparency, teamwork,
communication, and leadership to this portfolio.
My vision is to foster a financially literate and responsible student community, providing
support, resources, and knowledge to those in need. I promise to lead with transparency,
accountability, and innovation, maintaining an open-door policy for all residents. To ensure efficiency, I will work closely with the Matron, Residence Head, and Corridor
Primes to address maintenance and breakages issues. I will introduce a system for
recording and tracking maintenance and breakages, ensuring seamless communication.
As your RC Finance, I will:
- Provide quarterly finance reports to the RC team and house members
- Host budget workshops and seminars with finance associations like ABSIP
I resonate deeply with the house values of passion and respect, which align with my
personal values. I am committed, trustworthy, and passionate about our house
community.
Make the right choice and vote for me (Lufezo) for RC Finance, Maintenance, and
Breakages. Together, let's build a financially responsible and supportive community. With
that being said, I’ll leave you with a few beautiful words from Erin Hanson which quote:
“There is freedom waiting for you, on the breezes of the sky, and you ask, “what if I fall?”
Oh, but darling, what if you fly?”.

  3. Long-Term Vision: How do you envision evolving the role of the Finance, Maintenance, and Breakages portfolio over your term, and what steps will you take to ensure its sustainability and relevance beyond your leadership?

  4. Engagement and Accountability: How will you encourage active participation from all house members in contributing to and understanding financial literacy, particularly those who may be less engaged in house activities?

  5. Collaboration with Staff: Can you specify how you will balance the input and expectations of the Matron, Residence Head, and Corridor Primes with those of the residents while maintaining your commitment to transparency and accountability?

  6. Measurement of Success: What metrics will you use to evaluate the effectiveness of your initiatives during your term, particularly in fostering financial literacy and community support within House Kestell?

  7. Conflict Resolution: How do you plan to address potential conflicts or differing priorities between the RC team and the house members regarding financial decisions and maintenance issues?

  8. Diversity of Perspectives: As you plan to involve finance associations like ABSIP in your budget workshops, how will you ensure that the workshops are inclusive and address the diverse financial backgrounds and needs of all residents?

  9. Leadership Development: How do you intend to mentor and develop future leaders within the house through your role, specifically in relation to financial management and maintenance responsibilities?

  10. Personal Motivation: You mention being passionate about the house community. Can you discuss any personal experiences that have shaped your understanding of finance and maintenance issues within a residential setting and how they influence your candidacy?
