Gatsby is smiler to the tragic hero Wanda Maximoff. Wanda was stuck in the past and created a "world" that portrayed that. She made a fake version of her passed love and trapped other people in her fantasy. It started off black and white but, in the end, it finally showed its true colors. Jay Gatsby's story is about him being obsessed with being with Daisy and doing basically anything for her. Trying to turn back time and make himself this dream guy for the wrong reasons. But in the end it was just that, a dream. Respond to this statement do you agree or disagree 3-4 sentences

I agree with this statement. Both Gatsby and Wanda are tragic heroes who are consumed by their desires and unable to move on from their pasts. They both create elaborate fantasies in an attempt to manipulate reality and ultimately suffer the consequences of their actions. In the end, both characters are left with nothing but the harsh truth of their illusions.
