doesn't the peak RISE 14318 - 9500 feet
and isn't the RUN 15847 feet?
how is grade or slope defined?
from a base elevation of 9500 ft., a mountain rises to a summit elevation of 14318 ft. over a horizontal distance of 15847 ft.
I cannot figure out the grade of the peak. Can someone please help me?

I need to find what percent the grade is
divide the rise by the run, then multiply by 100
