Background information: The AAFD is a national nonprofit trade association representing
the rights and interests of franchisees and independent dealers throughout
the United States. The primary mission of the AAFD is to promote fair and equitable
franchising and dealer practices, to promote trade and exemplary trade practices,
and to provide members with programs, services, and products that enhance their
ability to conduct their individual businesses and careers with competence and integrity.
It provides free information to the public as well as more in-depth information
to members. If you ever decide to purchase a franchise, look at this site first.

“Seven Basic Questions for a Prospective Franchisee” in the textbook. Discuss
in detail the similarities and differences between the two.
