for y/3= sin x/4 give the period, the amplitude, and the shift if it exists

1 answer

I will re-write the equation to make it look more like the general form

y = 3 sin (1/4)x

compare it with y = a sin kx
a is the amplitude
2pi/k is the period

so can you take it from there?
