x^2 - x -1 = -(y/2)

x^2 - x = -y/2 + 1

x^2 - x + 1/4 = -y/2 + 1 + 1/4

(x- 1/2)^2 = -(1/2) (y - 5/2)

vertex at ( 1/2 , 5/2 )

if x = 6
y = - 2(36) + 12 + 2 = -58
