For the functions F(x)=4x^2+3x+5 and g(x)=3x^2+2x+2, Find:

A. (f+g)(3)
B.(f+g)(x)
C. (f-g)(x)
D. (f-g)(-3)

1 answer

f(x)=4x^2+3x+5 and g(x)=3x^2+2x+2

I will do A and C, you do the rest

a)
(f+g)----> 7x^2 + 5x + 7
(f+g)(3)
= 7(3)^2 + 5(3) + 7
= 63 + 15 + 7
= 85

c) (f-g)(x)
= 4x^2+3x+5 - (3x^2+2x+2)
= x^2 + x + 3
