For our second writing assignment, we are writing a formal business letter of at least 250 words using one of the three templates from the Purdue Online Writing Lab (see the link below). Consult the following scenario for your letter's content:

If you are preparing to work in a particular trade or field, write a cover letter for your resume describing your work history and/or the training and skills that you would bring to the job. You may write your letter with over your skill set now, or write the letter as if you have just graduated from your program. Why does this work appeal to you? Why do you think you would be a valuable employee?
Now that the letter has been drafted, it's time to think of a way to use social media to get the word out about your plans. In between 25-75 words, write post that could be shared on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. explaining your qualities and qualifiications. Include this post on the second page of your document.
You don't need to follow MLA format as you did with your Literacy Narrative. However, this letter will be evaluated according to its faithfulness to the chosen template (line spacing, indentation, grammar, and style) as well as its content. Be sure to proofread before submitting.
