let S = 1/3 + 2/9 + 3/27 + 4/81 + ...
multiply both sides by 1/3
1/3 S = 1/9 + 2/27 + 3/81 + ....
subtract them:
S - 1/3 S = 1/3 + 1/9 + 1/27 + 1/81 + ...
the right side is a GP with a = 1/3 and r = 1/3 , so
2/3 S = a/(1-r) = (1/3) / (2/3) = 1/2
S = (1/2) / (2/3) = 3/4
now compare the simple solution given by a human to the ridiculous dribble given by you , the bot
