Find the speed in both radians per second and degrees per second for the hour

hand, the minute hand, and the second hand on a clock.

1 answer

1 hours = 60 minutes = 3600 seconds

I will do one of them for you, you try the others

angular speed of hour hand:
= 1 rotation/ per 12 hrs
= 2π radians/12(3600) seconds
= (π/21600) radians/second

or
= 360° degrees /12 hrs
= (360/12(3600)° / second
= 1/120 degrees/second
