Did you not follow the method I showed you for the same kind of question in your previous post??
Are you just guessing at an answer, hoping some somebody will do it for you correctly?
How did you arrive at the answer A ?
Find the slope of the line that goes through the following points.
X -1, 0,1,2
Y -4,-1,2,5
A. -5
B. -3
C. -1\3
D. 3
Is the answer A?
Thank you

No I did
(-1-(-4)/(-1-0)=-5
(-1-(-4)/(-1-0)=-5
2 errors
error #1 :
-1 - (-4)
= -1 + 4
= 3
So review your subtraction of integers
2nd error:
you can't switch direction in your subtraction
your points where (-1,-4) and (0,-1)
You started by subtracting the first y from the second y, and then you subracted the second x from the first x.
I must be (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) OR (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)
that is,
(-1 - (-4))/(0-(-1)) = 3/1 = 3
or
(-4-(-1))/(-1-0) = -3/-1 = 3
error #1 :
-1 - (-4)
= -1 + 4
= 3
