Find the slope of a line

To find the slope of a line, you need two points on the line (x1, y1) and (x2, y2). The slope of the line is calculated as the change in the y-coordinates divided by the change in the x-coordinates:

slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

or

slope = Δy / Δx

where Δy is the change in y-coordinates, and Δx is the change in x-coordinates.
