why not use the value of π on you calculator
I get
r^2 = 41.730426..
r = 6.4599
Find the radius of a cylinder with a volume of 393.3 cm^3 and a height of 3cm
V = pi*r^2*h
393.3 = pi*r^2*h
41.75 cm = r^2
6.5 cm = r <-------------

Thank you! I did use the pi button on my calculator but I must have rounded wrong. The question said to round to nearest tenth, so our answers are both same (though I got mine by error...)
