find the next number in the following sequence;
1/2,2/3,3/5,5/8, _

*please i need your assistance guys for this question*
My idea is as follows
denominator part for the given fraction =1+2 =3
then 2+3 =5, 3+5=8,therefore the next denominator part = 5+8 =13

hence the answ. 8/13 surprising enough i got wrong so what is right solution to this question with more clarification if it is possible

3 + 2 = 6
5 + 3 = 8
8 + 4 = 12

Is it possibly 8/12?

the numerators and denominators are elements of the Fibonacci sequence:

1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,...

so the next fraction is 8/13

Each numerator and denominator is the sum of the previous two.
