It’s complementry angle is 90° - θ

θ is 20° less than it’s comlementry angle means:

θ = ( 90° - θ ) - 20°

θ = 90° - 20° - θ

θ = 70° - θ

add θ to both sides

2 θ = 70°

θ = 70° / 2

θ = 35°
