Find the inverse Laplace transform of the following function:

F(s)=(9+s)/(4-s^2)

1 answer

Remember your algebra? Using partial fractions, see that

F(s) = (7/4)/(s+2) - (11/4)/(s-2)

Since
L{1} = 1/s,
L{e^at f(t)} = F(s-a)

L{e^-2t} - L{e^2t} = 1/(s+2) + 1/(s-2)

I think you can take it from there.
