Find the amount in each case

125% is 85cm

27 answers

To find the total amount based on the information that 125% equals 85 cm, you can set up a simple equation.

Let \( x \) be the whole (100%). We know that:

\[ 125% = 1.25x \]

According to the information given:

\[ 1.25x = 85 \text{ cm} \]

Now, to find \( x \), we can rearrange the equation:

\[ x = \frac{85}{1.25} \]

Now, calculate \( x \):

\[ x = \frac{85}{1.25} = 68 \text{ cm} \]

So, 100% (the whole amount) is 68 cm.

To find other specific percentages, you can multiply 68 cm by different percentage values (like 50%, 75%, etc.) as needed.

If you need any further calculations or specific percentages, feel free to ask!

Happy Thursday! 1 more day and it’s Friday!!

Happy Thursday! 🎉 Just one more day until the weekend! Do you have any exciting plans for Friday or the weekend ahead?

Yess we’re going to the movies

That sounds like a lot of fun! What movie are you going to see?

They released a new Joker movie. It’s called Joker 2.

That’s exciting! “Joker 2” is highly anticipated. Are you a big fan of the first Joker movie? It’ll be interesting to see where they take the story and characters in the sequel. Are you going with friends or family?

My family! 🙃

That sounds like a great time! Watching a movie as a family can be so much fun. I hope you all enjoy “Joker 2.” Do you usually go to the theater for big releases, or do you prefer watching movies at home?

I prefer going to the theaters especially after it releases. Idk I just like going there. It’s fun

I totally get that! There’s something special about the movie theater experience—the big screen, the surround sound, and the whole atmosphere. Plus, enjoying popcorn and snacks just adds to the fun! Do you have a favorite snack you like to get when you go to the movies?

Reese’s cups Reese’s cup eat them up eat them up (I know it’s puffs I just say cup)

Haha, that’s a great choice! Reese’s Cups are delicious! Mixing up the lyrics like that makes it even more fun. 🍫 Do you have a favorite way to eat them—right out of the package, or do you have a special ritual when it comes to movie time?

I put them in the freezer when am at home for about 30 minutes or so then eat them it tastes so much better. But sometimes when I’m impatient I just eat them straight out the box

Freezing them is a great idea! It adds a nice crunch to the chocolate and peanut butter. It’s always worth the wait! But hey, sometimes you just have to satisfy that craving right away, and grabbing them straight from the box is definitely acceptable. Are there any other favorite snacks you enjoy with your movies?

Also I have a question

Of course! What’s your question? I’m here to help!

Which one would u choose. Would u rather it be

Summer break, no school, fun in the sun
Or
November entering December for the Christmas season, u have school but it’s Christmas time 🎄

That’s a tough choice! Both options have their perks.

Summer break offers endless possibilities, like hanging out with friends, travel, and enjoying the warm weather.

On the other hand, the holiday season in December is magical, with festive decorations, family gatherings, and celebrating Christmas. There’s something special about that time of year, even if school is still in session.

If I had to choose, I might lean toward the November/December option for the holiday spirit and all the cozy traditions. How about you? Which one would you choose?

If u went to school sorry which one would u chose

If I were in school, I might still lean toward the November/December option! The excitement of the holiday season, festive activities, and spending time with family and friends can make school more enjoyable. Plus, many schools have fun events and breaks around Christmas time.

However, the freedom of summer break would be hard to resist too! So, it really depends on my mood—sometimes you just want to kick back and enjoy the sun. But since there's a bit more excitement and festivity in December, I’d probably go with that. How about you? Which one would you choose if you were in school?

Is definitely choose the November December option. I love Christmas so much. Even though my birthday is during summer break I prefer Christmas more ❤️✝️ there Is something special about it.

That’s wonderful! Christmas really does have a magical atmosphere with all the decorations, music, and traditions. It’s a time for family, giving, and celebrating, which can create so many great memories.

It’s nice that your birthday falls in the summer, too, giving you a chance to enjoy both seasons! Do you have any favorite Christmas traditions or activities that you look forward to each year?

Which 1? Suffer now, enjoy later? Or enjoy now, suffer later

That’s a thought-provoking question!

"Suffer now, enjoy later" can often be beneficial in the long run, as putting in the effort now can lead to greater rewards in the future, whether it’s studying hard for good grades or working toward a long-term goal.

On the other hand, "enjoy now, suffer later" might bring immediate happiness but can sometimes lead to regrets down the line.

If I had to choose, I’d lean toward "suffer now, enjoy later." Investing time and effort upfront can lead to a more fulfilling and enjoyable future. How about you? Which one resonates with you more?

I choose that one too. It’s like this. It’s like studying for a test. If u were to suffer now and enjoy later, you can study all the hours for your test, and you pass. And you get to have a party and celebration! Like u can go out to eat and stuff, knowing that you got a good grade and it paid off. And for the second one, you could just say “nah, I don’t feel like studying. School is too hard and I need a break. I’m gonna play some Roblox it’s way better the. Studying. And who knows maybe I’ll pass it without studying!” And the student plays the day away, having so much fun with his friends. Then the next day, he gets an F on the test. He got below 40% and the teacher wonders if the student even studied. Then when he got home, his mom found out his test score and the student told his mom he played games instead of studying, and he got grounded and the mom told him he couldn’t play games until he got his grade up. “If you had just studied you could have still gotten your games and not had been grounded. It’s that easy! Only would take you under an hour to study. But you decided to play games.” And the student regrets it and now his grade are low and he can’t play his game, and his mother is upset.

So yeah lol definitely suffer now enjoy later cuz it’ll be worth it in the end. Work hard play hard.

That’s such a clear and relatable example! You really nailed the contrast between the two choices. It shows how the effort you put in now can lead to much greater rewards later on, both academically and personally.

The "work hard, play hard" mentality is definitely a good approach to life. By putting in the time and effort upfront, you set yourself up for success and allow for those enjoyable moments later, whether it's celebrating a good grade or enjoying time off after completing tasks.

Your perspective highlights the importance of balance and making those thoughtful choices. Thanks for sharing that scenario—it’s a great reminder for everyone! Do you find it easy to stick to this mindset, or do you ever struggle with balancing work and play?
