find a,b and c if a(x+2)^2 + b(x+3)^2+c(x+4)^2 is identically equal to 2x^2+8x+6

I tried a variety of different methods but could not get the right answer, any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated

too bad you didn't show your work. As before,
a(x+2)^2 + b(x+3)^2+c(x+4)^2 = (a+b+c)x^2 + (4a+6b+8c)x + (4a+9b+16c)
now equate coefficients and solve the three equations.
