factor x^2+7x+12

Is it (x-3)(x-4) or (x-3)(x+4) ??? thx

1 answer

Neither. It is

(x+3)(x+4)

(x-3)(x-4) = x^2-7x+12
(x-3)(x+4) = x^2+x-12
