Ya got me. I don't find any rational roots at all. Makes factoring kinda tricky. You sure it's not

2y^4-y^3-10y+5 ?
That could be done by grouping
y^2(2y-1) - 5(2y-1)
(y^2-5)(2y-1)

For your function as given, I don't see any way. Wolframalpha confirms this:
