f(x)=x^3/(x^2-1)

find the regions of concavity and inflection points

1 answer

Use the 2nd derivative test for that equation to plot out the points where "x" is positive and negative.

Positive = concave up
Negative = concave down

Inflection points exist where the graph moves from concave up to concave down(positive to negative)
