f(x)=-4x-3 Find the slope and y-intercept

3 answers

f(x) = -4x - 3

The slope-intercept form of an equation, where m = slope and b = y-intercept.
y = mx + b

Since your equation is already in the slope-intercept form,

y = mx + b
y = -4x - 3
Slope m = -4
y-intercept b = -3
Thank you , Helper. You and Ms. Sue have been a major part in my completing this. I cannot begin to tell you guys how thankful I am. Both of you have been a blessing. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!
You're welcome :)
