In the area of the fossil dig site, the three features you are likely to find are:

  1. Dry sand: This is a common feature in many archaeological dig sites, especially those that are located in arid or semi-arid environments.

  2. Rock formations: These can indicate geological activity and offer clues about the age and type of the rocks in which fossils may be found.

  3. Narrow river: Water bodies can contribute to fossil preservation and may also provide insight into the ancient environments in which the fossils were formed.

Dense forests and active volcanoes are less likely to be features of a typical fossil dig site. Few plants could be present; however, they tend to not be as prominent as the other features mentioned.

Please make additional observations while exploring the dig site for deeper insights!
