Explain how the lacfk of genetic diversity found in populations of endangered species might hinder their recovery
Genetic diversity is needed to cope with environmental changes. With genetic diversity, if there are large changes in the environment, at least some individuals might be able to cope with the changes to insure survival of the species. Without genetic diversity, a change that kills some members of a species is more likely to kill them all.
However, since this is not my area of expertise, I searched Google under the key words "'genetic diversity' 'endangered species'" to get these possible sources:

In the future, you can find the information you desire more quickly, if you use appropriate key words to do your own search.
I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
