g(x)= √x^2+1
before we get into this do you mean what you wrote:
g(x)= √x^2+1
or do you mean
g(x)= √ (x^2+1)
Evaluate the function g(x)= √x^2+1 at each specified value of the independent variable, and simplify.
a). g(-1)
b. g(3)
c. g(3x)
thank you

yes, anonymous...thank you
LOL, yes which?
perhaps to make my question more clear:
y = 1 + sqrt x^2
or
y = sqrt (1+x^2)
y = 1 + sqrt x^2
or
y = sqrt (1+x^2)
oh,,,,sorry lol
It was g(x)= √ (x^2+1)
thanks
It was g(x)= √ (x^2+1)
thanks
ok
y = sqrt (1+x^2)
if x = -1, y = sqrt 2
if x = 3, y = sqrt 10
if x = 3x , y = sqrt (1 + (3x)^2 ) = sqrt ( 1 + 9x^2)
y = sqrt (1+x^2)
if x = -1, y = sqrt 2
if x = 3, y = sqrt 10
if x = 3x , y = sqrt (1 + (3x)^2 ) = sqrt ( 1 + 9x^2)
Anonymous,
could you please show step by step answers so I can learn.
